2009 BOAT DRAW WINNER

SPIRIT OF THE LOUGH ANNUAL PIKE COMPETITION 2009-2010
This event was Rinn-Shannon & District Angling Club’s first ever pike competition and was a pairs event which was fished over ten different venues in the R.S.D.A.C area such as Lough Forbes, Rynn, Drumharlow to name but a few. It proved to be a resounding success which was due to the hard work of its organisers and the enthusiasm of its participants in sometimes harsh conditions.
Special thanks must go to the aforementioned people and Assistant treasurer Charles Beirne for keeping a detailed book of events and all the weights in order. An impressive total of 236 fish were caught and released unscathed over the competition with the final standings as follows:
